Kirsty Bradley from Crown Group wins our website promotion and donates $3000 to MS Research
Kirsty Bradley of Crown International Holdings, presented a $3000 cheque yesterday to MS Research Australia alongside Frank Boross, Havencab’s Head of Strategy and Business Development.
Kirsty nominated the charity to receive the donation after she won Havencab’s website launch competition by answering “who was the first company in Australia to clean with Aqueous Ozone” (Havencab of course!). Quite shocked but elated Ms Bradley expressed her great appreciation and stated “she had never won a prize” prior to this.
The total prize was a $1000 Westfield gift voucher and the chance to nominate a charity of her choice to receive a $3000 donation from Havencab. The choice of charity was an easy one for Kirsty, MS Research Australia is close to her heart as she has family and a work colleague affected by the disease.
The CEO of MS Research Australia, Dr Matthew Miles greeted Ms Bradley and Mr Boross to accept the donation. Dr Miles expressed his thanks and discussed the significant leaps in treatment for people affected by the disease over the past years and how every cent works towards a cure.
Unfortunately 1 in 1,300 people in Australia have MS, which equates to around 15,000 to 17,000 people who have MS in Australia of which 74% are women. Mr Boross was staggered by these figures and pledged that Havencab will join Ms Bradley in future fund raising efforts to help people affected by MS.
Havencab recently revamped their website to demonstrate their sustainable credentials and showcase their people that are driving exceptional customer service offering.
