Picture a judging panel sitting across a table, working through eleven award categories, sifting through submissions from every corner of the NSW strata industry. They’re not swayed by a slick pitch deck or a single glowing review. They’re looking for the businesses that show up, week after week, job after job, and actually earn their reputation the hard way. This month, Strata Community Association NSW confirmed that Havencab Property Group is one of those businesses, named a finalist in the Strata Services Business Award category at the 2026 SCA (NSW) CHU Strata Community Awards for Excellence.
We’re genuinely proud to sit among the businesses setting the benchmark for strata cleaning services across the state. But let’s be honest about what a nomination like this actually represents. It’s not a trophy for one great job. It’s recognition that, over years of contracts and thousands of individual site visits, the standard has never slipped.
Recognised Alongside Respected Industry Names
Good company makes any shortlist feel better, and this one is no exception. We’re up against Danrae Group, Diagnostech, Grace Lawyers and Tony Isgrove’s Paint & Decorate, all names with real standing in the NSW strata world. Being named alongside businesses like these says as much about the strength of the category as it does about us, and that’s exactly how it should be.
It’s also a nice moment to reflect on the wider Havencab Property Group family. Havencab, National FM, Haven Black and VicClean each bring their own flavour to servicing strata schemes, high-rise towers and commercial buildings across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, but they all answer to the same standard. Whether that standard is being tested by a judging panel or by a committee reviewing invoices at the next AGM, the answer needs to hold up either way.
What This Recognition Means for Our Clients
Nobody picks a strata cleaning company off the back of a single five-star review. Strata managers and owners corporations are choosing a contractor they’ll be dealing with for years, someone who turns up when they say they will, flags problems before they become disasters, and answers the phone when something’s gone wrong on a Friday afternoon. That’s a much harder bar to clear than it sounds, and it’s precisely what this nomination is a nod to.
For every strata scheme, high-rise building and commercial property on our books, this finalist listing is simply the industry catching up to what our clients have known for a while: Havencab turns up, does the job properly, and stays accountable long after the ink on the contract has dried. If you’ve already worked with us, none of this will come as news. If you haven’t yet, consider it a preview of what strata cleaning contractors who actually take the relationship seriously look like in practice.

Join Us at the Awards
Mark the date. The 2026 SCA (NSW) CHU Strata Community Awards for Excellence will be presented on Wednesday 23 September at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, closing out the final night of the SCA (NSW) 2026 Convention. There’s always a real buzz in the room on awards night, and this year we’ll be in the crowd with everyone else, waiting to find out whether the finalist turns into the winner. However the night ends, we’ll be sharing the result with our clients and the wider strata community soon after.
